Job Description

Position Overview

The role is an entry level position performing routine engineering functions on assigned projects or sub-projects of a general nature and limited scope by applying standard mathematical, physical science, and/or engineering technologies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assists in the design and/or project/process management projects, products, programs, components, tools and acceptance equipment under technical guidance. Participates in establishing operating procedures on new products and components.
  • Supports the development of testing procedures and performs routine to moderately complex engineering evaluations.
  • Analyzes evaluation reports and discrepancies to make recommendations that improve productivity and quality to reduce flowtime.
  • Interacts as a team with design agencies, suppliers and/or internal organizations under the guidance from experienced Mechanical Engineers to assist in product realization.

Required Qualifications

  • Graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in Engineering or Physics
  • United States Citizenship
  • Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
  • Ability to travel up to 10% of the time
  • Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and as determined by the needs of the business

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous relevant internship experience or equivalent preferred.
  • Demonstrates analytical skills, mathematical computations, computer software applications, and written documentation.
  • Demonstrates established technical methodologies to routine engineering projects.
  • Looks for opportunities to document improvements/innovations in approved processes.
