Customer Service Associate I

Position Overview

We’re seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. This part‑time role is based at our store located at 534 10th St, Floresville, Texas 78114 (Job ID: 05448) at Dollar Tree.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while operating the assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well‑stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain store cleanliness, including restocking bathrooms, sweeping, mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable
• Perform other duties as assigned*

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environments is highly preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required
• Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills are required
