Key Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Prepare and serve beverages, following standard procedures.
• Educate customers about our cannabis products, including strains, edibles, and accessories.
• Maintain knowledge of current cannabis laws and regulations to ensure compliance.
• Accurately process customer transactions and maintain a clean and organized store environment.
• Operate cash registers, handling cash and card transactions efficiently.
• Maintain inventory levels and assist with restocking as needed.
• Keep the store and display areas well-maintained and organized.
• Answer customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere and assist colleagues as needed.
• Adhere to all company policies and safety guidelines.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and products.

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge or willingness to learn about cannabis products and their effects.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
• Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management.

Preferred Qualifications

• Barista experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of local and state cannabis laws and regulations is a plus.

Working Conditions

• This is a full time and part-time position with primarily evening and weekend shifts.
• Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
• The job may require standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 pounds, and bending or stooping.

Compensation

Pay: $13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
