Supervisory IT Specialist (DATAMGT/SYSADMIN)

Position Overview

The Supervisory IT Specialist (DATAMGT/SYSADMIN) is located with the Department of Radiology at Brooke Army Medical Center, San Antonio, TX. This is a Direct Hire Solicitation. Who May Apply: US Citizens.

Required Qualifications

• One year of specialized experience managing the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of complex healthcare/digital imaging information systems for multiple Military Treatment Facilities (MTFs).
• Experience with a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to manage and assess information systems.
• Proven ability to evaluate software and hardware components to ensure clinical productivity and provide clinical support for radiology workflow.
• Skilled in applying database management concepts, principles, and design to optimize database performance and operations.
• Demonstrated competencies in Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving through IT-related experiences.
• Must meet the qualification requirement using experience alone – substitution of education for experience is not permitted.
