Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the strategic sales of capital products within all surgical solutions' product categories (lights, booms, surgical tables, operating room integration, and partnership sales) in your territory.
  • Partner with clinical consultants, product specialists, construction solution architects, and corporate accounts to offer comprehensive end-to-end solutions, including for large integrated health system customers.
  • Execute the full sales cycle: opportunity prioritization, accurate forecasting, qualifying complex sales, preparing customer presentations, follow-up, and attaining goals.
  • Utilize data-driven insights to identify key opportunities and support consultative selling by uncovering unmet needs.
  • Implement marketing communications to enhance product visibility through promotions, advertising, and trade shows.
  • Demonstrate year-over-year backlog growth by uncovering green field opportunities and securing early-stage specifications of our surgical solutions’ portfolio.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred with 3+ years of outside sales experience (medical device capital equipment experience preferred) OR 8+ years of relevant sales experience.
  • Experience selling durable medical equipment solutions; O.R. integration experience is a plus.
  • Effective influencing skills with the ability to understand and influence personnel ranging from nurses to C-level executives.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, organizational, problem-solving, facilitation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to supervise sales activity, develop sales plans, and analyze market trends.
  • Must reside in the Houston area; Territory covers Greater Houston, College Station, Galveston, and Beaumont. Travel required up to 60%, including some overnight travel.

  • Compensation: The estimated base salary for this position is $60,000 to $132,000 annually, with potential commission eligibility.
