Position Overview
We are seeking an entry-level Supply Chain Associate to support a demand planning-aligned supply chain team in New York City. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or early-career professionals looking to build a strong foundation in supply chain, analytics, and operations within a fast-paced, data-driven environment. Location: New York City, NY. Pay Rate: $25.51/hour. Duration: 12-month contract.
Key Responsibilities
- Support demand planning and supply chain initiatives and projects
- Assist with inventory management, forecasting, and planning activities
- Support order management, credit management, and assembly coordination
- Build, refresh, and maintain operational and analytical reports
- Analyze data from multiple supply chain systems and ensure accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support project execution
- Participate in continuous improvement and process optimization efforts
- Work hands-on within systems and datasets to identify insights and opportunities
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (recent graduates welcome)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Willingness to commute as needed within New York City and surrounding areas (NY/NJ)
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Industrial Engineering, Business Analytics, or related field
- Demand planning or supply chain-focused background
- Experience building, refreshing, or improving reports
- Power BI or other data visualization/reporting tools
- Prior supply chain or operations experience (internships, co-ops, or up to ~3 years experience considered)
- Comfortable digging into systems and working with large datasets
