Position Overview

Summit Funding, Inc – one of the oldest privately owned top 50 national mortgage lenders – is offering you the opportunity to launch your career in mortgage sales through a FREE 16-week training program. Learn the fundamentals of mortgage sales from industry experts, including CEO Todd Scrima, and gain the skills essential to excel as a Loan Officer. Please note that this is a training program and not an immediate job offer; top graduates will be considered for full-time positions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Foster a culture of collaboration, trust, support, and best-in-class service.
  • Originate and close residential home loans while serving as a subject matter expert on the mortgage process.
  • Develop long-term relationships with realtors, homebuilders, and other referral sources through regular outreach.

Required Qualifications

  • Loan Officer University Graduate.
  • Must be currently licensed with NMLS.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work in the United States; Summit Funding does not sponsor work visas.

  • Compensation: Hourly wage of $20.19/hr plus a bonus on each loan closed until promotion to Sr Loan Officer; Sr Loan Officer compensation is based on full commissions with rates ranging from 50 to 150 basis points per loan depending on position, experience, and location.
