We are seeking a Jr. Compliance Analyst with 2–4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our regulatory and internal compliance programs by conducting reviews, maintaining records, assisting with examinations, and streamlining compliance operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including operations—to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Location:New York City office.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct assigned compliance monitoring reviews and recommend updates based on findings.
- Support the compliance team with state examinations, annual reports, and license renewals.
- Identify process deficiencies by testing controls against company procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in maintaining the Corrective Action Log, reviewing and updating entries as needed.
- Monitor SCRA requests and draft responses to consumers.
- Respond to consumer complaints, direct disputes, and subpoenas.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate compliance processes.
- Review marketing materials for adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
- Respond to credit bureau disputes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree is required.
- 2–4 years’ experience working for a financial institution, bank, online lender, or fintech involved in consumer lending.
- Understanding of regulations such as ECOA, Fair Lending, TILA, FCRA, FDCPA, and related industry standards is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving, attention to detail, analytical, time management, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and Word.
- Professional, personable, and self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Bankruptcy experience is a plus.

Compensation:The estimated base salary range for this position is $55,000 to $75,000 (actual base salary depends on experience, qualifications, and skill level).
