Job Description

Position Overview

The Wholesale Insights & Engagement Manager executes premium in-store and online experiential programs that elevate the brand by driving sell-through, ensuring maximum revenue generation and consistent brand messaging with wholesale account partners. This role builds both customer and internal cross functional relationships to achieve sales objectives and results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with manager to develop integrated wholesale account activation omni-channel plans that align in-store, digital, OOH, ambassador programs, and physical experiences; responsible for executing the plans.
  • Manage relationships with Sales leadership, Account reps, and Wholesale Marketing partners to proactively drive strategic marketing plans designed to achieve account growth and profitability targets.
  • Carry out Insights & Engagement product and brand initiatives in alignment with the overall product and brand awareness vision and strategies.
  • Collaborate with Sales and Sales Planning teams to maintain wholesale data including merchandising planning, marketing metrics, digital performance, and provide timely business updates, competitive analysis, product demand, availability, and market share reporting to senior leaders.
  • Proactively identify, execute, and optimize key product storytelling opportunities across the wholesale channel.
  • Drive best in-class, in-store POP initiatives based on seasonal product launches, narratives, and brand campaigns led by I&E leadership, including managing GWP and SWAG promotions plan per year according to seasonal needs and account marketing plans.
  • Manage wholesale account marketing budgets, including contractual MDF/Co-op spends, and report on ROI for tactics and programs in partnership with Wholesale I&E leadership.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from a four-year college or university.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of consumer marketing experience; experience in outdoor or lifestyle-centric brands is preferred.
  • Documented experience working collaboratively across multiple departments and touchpoints.
  • Excellent understanding of consumer behavior with ability to leverage insights for targeted marketing messages.
  • Strong project management skills and a keen eye for copyediting and creative detail.
  • Highly motivated with an entrepreneurial, can-do attitude.
  • Solid understanding of brand and product, with a preference for outdoor and technical knowledge.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills along with robust presentation abilities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Adobe Suite is a plus.
  • Ability to partner with both internal and external teams to drive business goals.
  • Strong knowledge of current technology, trends, and best practices in retail and digital marketing.
  • Flexibility to work with tight deadlines and extended hours when necessary.
  • Hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in the Portland office per week.

Benefits & Perks

  • Base Salary: $92,000.00 - $101,000.00 yearly. Note: Actual salary depends on experience, knowledge, skills, and location.
