Position Overview

Intuit Credit Karma is a mission-driven company focused on championing financial progress for over 140 million members globally. Known for pioneering free credit scores, our members trust us for a full array of financial services, from monitoring identity to applying for credit cards, insurance, loans, and more. We are seeking an experienced Brand Strategist to uplevel how we bring the Credit Karma brand to life through innovative, insight-driven marketing that delivers real results. In this role, you will develop creative briefs for campaigns across multiple channels, collaborate closely with internal teams and external agency partners, and drive marketing initiatives that make an impact.

Salary: $160,800, plus equity and benefits

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop fresh insights and creative strategies to build Credit Karma’s relevance and differentiation in the market, working in collaboration with Research, Product Marketing, Media, Growth Marketing, and Creative Production teams.
  • Partner closely with creative teams to develop provocative, insight-driven strategies that spark innovative and effective marketing campaigns across TV, OTT, digital, social, email, and other channels.
  • Leverage brand messaging expertise and an understanding of full-funnel marketing dynamics to guide creative concepting and direction tailored to various consumer behaviors and platforms.
  • Collaborate with Paid Marketing and Social Strategy partners to develop integrated cross-channel strategies that drive key business goals.
  • Own reporting on creative effectiveness by analyzing performance data, surfacing actionable insights, and partnering with Marketing Analytics and Growth Marketing for continuous optimization.
  • Build strong relationships with cross-functional partners and communicate recommendations to senior stakeholders effectively.
  • Proactively identify new opportunities to unlock growth and contribute innovative ideas that drive significant business impact.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in Brand Strategy, Creative Strategy, or Brand Planning roles, with a strong background in partnering with creative teams to shape brand narratives and guide creative execution.
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute to brand strategy development, audience insights analysis, and campaign planning.
  • A proven track record of using both quantitative and qualitative data to drive decision making and optimize marketing performance.

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • A passion for creating transformative consumer experiences with a history of inspiring impactful creative work through deep consumer, cultural, and competitive insights.
  • High energy and a positive, solution-oriented “can do” attitude.
  • Familiarity with diverse research methods used to inform and optimize creative development, with the ability to drive research initiatives if needed.
