Position Overview
A global IT solutions provider is seeking a Field Service Technician. Location: Nashville, TN. This role involves providing on-site technical support for retail POS systems and various IT infrastructure. The position requires flexibility for travel and evening work, and offers remote work options. Additionally, Experience Required: at least 5 years of relevant technical support experience and a strong customer service background.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site technical support for retail POS systems and related IT infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues to ensure minimal service downtime.
- Deliver high-quality customer service by addressing and resolving client concerns.
- Adapt to flexible work hours, including travel and evening shifts as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in field service or IT technical support (Experience Required: 5+ years).
- Proven track record in delivering excellent customer service.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and travel as required.
- Solid understanding of retail POS systems and IT infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in remote or hybrid work environments.
- Additional certifications related to IT support or technical service.
