Job Description

Position Overview

At Children's Mercy – a nationally recognized top pediatric hospital in the heart of Kansas City – you will join an inclusive and compassionate team making a difference in the lives of children and their families. In this role, the Recruiter is responsible for sourcing and recruiting experienced clinical talent, acting as a consultant to hiring managers, developing sourcing plans, and coordinating all candidate verification activities. Additionally, you will help shape recruitment strategies and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Please note that employment requires compliance with vaccination policies, including the seasonal influenza vaccine and other immunizations as applicable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source experienced candidates through direct and indirect channels
  • Consult with hiring managers to fill assigned requisitions
  • Participate in and lead process improvement initiatives for recruiting
  • Confirm candidate qualifications and manage background, reference, and licensure verifications

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience as an HR generalist in a high-volume staffing environment, or equivalent experience through previous work or an Associate's degree with 5-7 years in recruiting
