Entry Level Web Application Developer

Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for an Entry Level Web Application Developer in our Red Bank, NJ office. In this role, you will create internal/external web pages—including graphic design, animation, and functionality—and design the overall layout, user interfaces, icons, color schemes, and on-line content for new product releases and web-hosted offerings. You will also handle programming, maintenance, technical support, documentation, and administration of applications aimed at boosting online sales performance. Work independently and as part of a seasoned team committed to expanding your skills and challenging you in every aspect of our robust web-based suite of applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain internal/external web pages with graphics, animations, and interactive functionality.
• Design page layouts, user interface graphics, icons, color schemes, and content infrastructure for new product releases.
• Program, document, and provide technical support for web applications and related systems.
• Improve online sales activities by combining clear communication, creative design, and technical skills.
• Collaborate within a team environment while also managing tasks independently.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a SaaS software development environment.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of application development experience.
• Experience working directly with customers as a technical lead.
• Proficiency in code maintenance, version control, and documentation.
• Experience in HTML.
• Experience in Java.
• Experience with Web 2.0 frameworks (JQuery, Prototype).
• Knowledge of standard web technologies, including Advanced JavaScript and Cold Fusion.
• API integration experience and a working knowledge of the SDLC.

Preferred Qualifications

• XML and interface experience preferred.
