Job Description
Position Overview
The role of the Remote Contact Center Representative is to go above and beyond to meet the financial needs of our members. The ideal candidate is a go-getter who craves knowledge and growth in the financial industry, is comfortable in a sales environment, and is known for excellent attendance. In all they do, our representatives strive to provide a "WOW" member service experience over the phone while guiding members on a path to financial wellness.
Key Responsibilities
- Answer member phone calls and provide first-call resolution on various financial issues.
- Actively promote and cross-sell all Credit Union products and services by identifying member needs to achieve established goals.
- Utilize strong listening, communication, and problem-solving skills while diplomatically handling and/or resolving member issues.
- Accurately process member transactions over the phone.
- Process necessary paperwork and ensure compliance with all required regulations, procedures, and policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Must meet the requirements for our Telecommuting Program.
- Excellent oral, written, and telephone communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and member service skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PPT).
