Job Description
Position Overview
We are looking for a Receptionist to manage our front desk and perform administrative and clerical tasks such as printing, copying, mailing, and scanning. In this pivotal role, you will welcome guests, coordinate front-desk activities, and provide administrative support across the organization. This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) based in our in-person work location. Compensation: Salary is based on experience, with a range of $20.00 - $24.00 per hour.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person and office.
- Screen and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure the reception area is tidy and presentable, with all necessary stationery and materials.
- Provide basic and accurate information in-person and via phone/email.
- Perform clerical tasks such as filing, photocopying, and mailing.
Required Qualifications
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative, or similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. fax machines and printers).
- Professional attitude and appearance.
- Solid written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
- Excellent organizational skills with effective multitasking and time-management abilities.
- Customer service orientation.
- High school degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
- Spanish language proficiency is preferred.
