Entry Level Management/Budtender

Position Overview

CHO Dispensary, a “Mom & Pop” owned business established in 2021 in Saranac, MI with a second location in Stanton, MI, is seeking an Entry Level Manager/Budtender. This is an excellent opportunity to begin a career in the Cannabis Industry where you will learn CRA guidelines, customer service, and store operations in a fast-paced, community-focused environment. All training and continuing education will be provided.

Key Responsibilities

• Guide and assist other store associates while building strong teamwork and delivering excellent customer service.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure the dispensary remains clean, organized, and well-stocked.
• Educate customers on cannabis products, proper usage, and safety, ensuring compliance with CRA guidelines.
• Handle cashiering, accurately weigh, package, and label cannabis products, and manage inventory.
• Engage with customers by actively listening, making sound recommendations, and resolving service issues.

Required Qualifications

• Must submit a résumé (via Indeed or in-person at the Saranac location)
• Open, consistent availability with flexibility for 8-hour shifts (day and evening) and weekends
• Valid driver’s license and ability to reliably commute or relocate to Saranac, MI 48881
• Exceptional customer service skills; no felonies in the past 7 years
• Must be 21+ to work in the Cannabis Industry

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in retail or management (experience in the cannabis industry is a plus, but not required)
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a coachable, student mentality
• Comfortable with new technology and retail systems
