Job Description

Position Overview

Chicago-based Golub & Company LLC and its affiliates operate internationally in real estate development, acquisitions, asset and property management, leasing, and corporate real estate services. We are seeking a Financial Analyst to join our Investor Relations team within our Acquisitions & Finance group. Reporting to the Director of Finance & Investor Relations in Chicago, you will support Golub’s acquisitions and development investment activities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with senior management to organize, build, and maintain detailed data analytics across Golub’s portfolio by consolidating information from various systems.
  • Maintain internal reporting to track portfolio leverage/risk, investment performance, and operational performance.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and third‐party software providers to support portfolio reporting and investor relations.
  • Create and maintain the internal valuation and investment returns reforecast process.
  • Assist in the generation of quarterly investment reporting, fund reporting, and regular investment memos.
  • Gather, evaluate, and maintain economic and market data.
  • Manage Golub’s third‐party data subscriptions and investor relations software to facilitate investment decisions.
  • Support the underwriting process for potential acquisition and development investments on an ad-hoc basis.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant real estate experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong financial acumen and a solid understanding of real estate investment concepts, including IRR, joint venture waterfalls, promotes, carried interest, real estate NAV, relative valuation, DCF, NPV, and cash flow models.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Argus; working knowledge of southeastern U.S. markets and experience in multifamily and office underwriting is a plus.
