Position Overview
Head of HR Communications at Fidelity Investments. Are you passionate about creating compelling stories that connect employees, strengthen relationships, and inspire innovation? In this role you will be a member of the Communications Senior Leadership Team, partnering with HR leaders, program teams, and key business partners to engage Fidelity’s 85,000 global associates. You will lead expert communicators across HR, Change, Diversity & Inclusion, and Community Impact, ensuring a consistent and authentic voice across all internal communications.
Salary: $125,000 - $258,000 USD per year
Compensation: Base salary is only part of the overall package; bonus or other variable compensation may also be included
Schedule: Hybrid (onsite every other week)
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with HR leaders, program teams, and Communications partners to design and implement effective internal communication strategies.
- Lead a team of communications experts focused on HR domains and ensure a unified voice across all channels.
- Prioritize communications aligned with top strategic initiatives and use data to measure impact and drive improvements.
- Manage the creation and delivery of comprehensive messaging that enhances career development and connects associates to key business practices.
- Oversee change management communications and ensure that all messaging adheres to legal, ethical, and compliance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required, with 10+ years of experience as a communications professional in corporate or agency settings, with expertise in internal communications.
- Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and business partners.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple initiatives in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent editing, proofreading, and writing skills, with an ability to distill complex information into clear messaging.
- Experience supporting change management through targeted communications programs.
- Demonstrated capability to lead, coach, and develop a high-performing communications team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the aptitude to function as editor-in-chief for all HR communications.
- Innovative thinker with a creative approach to problem solving and a strategic mindset for evolving communication strategies.
- Experience in working as a trusted business partner to senior leadership in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
