Position Overview
Govig Healthcare Group, the premier Executive Search Firm in the Senior Living industry, has partnered with a leading not-for-profit Life Plan Community rooted in a strong tradition of social justice, inclusion, and compassionate service. We are seeking a Director of Sales to lead the high-performing sales team. This dedicated sales leadership role is separate from marketing responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coach a team of seasoned sales professionals across Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Long-Term Care.
- Set clear performance goals and provide ongoing support to exceed occupancy and revenue targets.
- Maintain a strong presence in team development, pipeline reviews, and strategic planning.
- Personally engage in the sales process through appointments, tours, and move-ins.
- Demonstrate a deep understanding of Life Plan Community models and complex entry fee structures.
- Ensure a seamless journey for prospects and their families.
- Oversee Sales Counselors, Move-In Coordinator, and shared administrative support.
- Collaborate with the Director of Marketing on events, advertising, and external consultants.
- Utilize the CRM platform (Align) to monitor and optimize performance.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of sales leadership experience in senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or a related sector.
- Proven success in meeting or exceeding occupancy goals and managing high-performance teams.
- Strong knowledge of sales metrics, pipelines, and conversion strategies.
- A commitment to nonprofit values coupled with the ability to balance fiscal stewardship with mission fulfillment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in entry fee-based Life Plan Communities or CCRC settings.
- Background at regional or national senior living organizations.
- Familiarity with the Arizona senior housing market or enthusiasm for relocation.
