Job Description
Position Overview
We're seeking a versatile and proactive Mid-Level Designer to join our creative team. In this role, you will support US marketing initiatives, execute fast-turnaround projects, and maintain design systems to ensure consistency across multiple digital channels. Candidates should be based in the Eastern or Central time zones and able to commute to one of our hub offices as required.

Key Responsibilities
- Marketing & Campaign Design: Execute fast-turnaround design projects; design multi-channel campaign assets (social media, email, website content, event materials); create compelling thought leadership materials; and collaborate with marketing stakeholders.
- Design Systems & Brand Stewardship: Utilize existing design systems and UI standards for Merkle.com; maintain brand identity guidelines and assets; document reusable design components; and champion design system adoption across teams.
- Project & Workflow Management: Manage multiple design projects from concept through delivery; communicate project status and roadblocks; partner with cross-functional teams; and contribute to process improvements.
- Collaboration & Growth: Present design concepts with clarity; incorporate feedback constructively; stay current on design trends and methodologies; and mentor junior designers.
Required Qualifications
- Experience Required: 5+ years of relevant graphic design experience (including 1-3+ years in multi-channel creative environments).
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Communications Design, or a related field.
- Qualifications: Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Express); strong skills in information architecture, responsive design, and accessibility standards; exceptional sense of typography, color theory, layout, and composition; and a proven track record showcased through an impressive portfolio.
- Requirements: Highly organized, self-starter with excellent time management and communication skills, capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within enterprise-level design systems.
- Strong working knowledge of Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping.
- Familiarity with web analytics and A/B testing to inform design decisions.
- Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS to enhance designer-developer collaboration.
- Experience in B2B marketing or within the technology sector.
- Motion graphics or video editing capabilities.
Benefits & Perks
- Salary: $72,000-$120,000 per year
