Position Overview

Vista Defense Technologies, LLC (VDT) is seeking a Warehouse Team Member in Jacksonville, FL. The candidate will provide on-site equipment and warehousing support from 0700 to 1600, Monday through Friday (excluding Federal Holidays) with occasional adjustments outside normal operating hours. The role involves equipment management support from acquisition to disposition.

Key Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect all new items and verify against contracts, purchase orders, and/or Government specifications.
• Disassemble equipment as needed for examinations/inspections, classify received items, and validate documents against materials received.
• Utilize reference manuals, remote computer terminals, bar code identifiers, stock lists, equipment specifications, drawings, and catalogs to verify the accuracy of type, quantity, and quality of processed materials.
• Verify customer data, supply a service call ticket number back to the customer, and document calls using the NHJ Trouble Ticket System.
• Ensure compliance with Information Security and HIPAA Security rules during the deployment and disposal of IT-related equipment, making sure no hard drives are disposed of with the equipment.
• Evaluate current warehousing and distribution methods, recommend changes when appropriate, and coordinate with the Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) for approval.
• Collaborate with MID’s Supply Point of Contact (POC) and stakeholders to coordinate IT project logistics including equipment removal, room preparation, installation, and warranty maintenance documentation.
• Coordinate the receipt and identification of information technology equipment and manage the excess equipment reuse program with appropriate inventory adjustments.

Required Qualifications

• Tier 1 security clearance.
• Forklift certification is a plus, but not required.
