Electronic Technician

Position Overview

Growing manufacturer is seeking a direct-hire Electronic Technician located near Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. The technician will troubleshoot electronic systems, perform soldering of Printed Circuit Board components, conduct routine engineering tests and detailed experimental testing, update software and firmware, and write and update test procedures. This position has multiple openings on both 1st and 2nd shifts. It is a Permanent role based in Minneapolis, Minnesota with work hours from 8am to 4pm. Compensation: The hourly rate is dependent on experience ranging from $28 to $35 per hour, and the annual salary is between $55,000 and $72,000. All applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States of America.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform calibration checks on electronic instruments
• Troubleshoot electronic systems to determine root causes and remedies for malfunctions
• Perform soldering/re-soldering/re-flowing of Printed Circuit Board components
• Observe and examine equipment during testing to detect issues such as loose/missing parts, solder bridges, and shorts
• Test PCBs after repair and make any necessary repair adjustments

Required Qualifications

• Entry Level
• Minimum 1 year of experience
