Job Description

Position Overview

Altitude is searching for resilient individuals who thrive under pressure. In the world of sales, resilience is not just an asset—it's a necessity. As an Entry Level Territory Sales Associate at Altitude, you will be the catalyst for our growth, independently managing a designated sales territory and building strong relationships with small to medium-sized businesses while utilizing cold calling techniques. If you refuse to let obstacles stand in your way and see setbacks as setups for comebacks, then Altitude is the place for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prospecting: Identify and reach out to potential clients within your territory using cold calls, networking, and innovative lead generation techniques.
  • Relationship Building: Engage with business owners and decision-makers to understand their needs and present Altitude's insurance solutions.
  • Closing Sales: Leverage resilience and persuasive skills to close deals and ensure clients understand the value provided.
  • Follow-ups: Schedule and execute follow-up meetings to solidify client relationships and secure long-term commitments.
  • Continuous Learning: Adapt to client feedback, market trends, and new sales strategies to consistently improve performance.
  • Respond to client inquiries via email and phone, set follow-up appointments, and maintain your own book of business.
  • Participate in team meetings and work with your manager to set and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Develop relationships with local business owners and follow up on provided sales leads through strategic cold calling.
  • Submit daily sales metrics and activity reports.

Required Qualifications

  • Already licensed in Health & Life general lines or willing and able to obtain the Health & Life producer license (licensing reimbursement offered).
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 4 years of professional (post-high school) work experience. Candidates within 6 months of degree completion or with relevant outside sales experience will be considered.

Benefits & Perks

  • Virtual classroom training combined with hands-on sales training in your assigned territory.
  • Weekly draw pay with bonuses and commission eligibility from the start.
  • Quarterly and annual incentive trips, cash bonuses, and stock share bonuses.
  • Opportunities for advancement and promotions based on personal performance.
  • Excellent ongoing professional development with advanced sales and leadership training.
  • Increased schedule flexibility once an established book of business is developed.
  • A supportive culture of like-minded, driven, and caring professionals.
