Position Overview
MacPaw, headquartered in Boston, USA, is a software company that develops and distributes software for macOS and iOS – with 20 million active users and presence on every 5th Mac. We believe that humans and technology can reach their greatest potential together. Now, as we launch our innovative AI Mac Assistant, Eney, we’re looking for a Chief Marketing Officer to take full ownership of our global marketing strategy and become the voice of the market as part of the Executive Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Build marketing with a focus on deep customer understanding and drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Shape product strategy by leveraging marketing insights and delivering a high‐impact Go-to-Market strategy for the ecosystem launch and business rebranding.
- Take full ownership of all marketing processes including audit, optimization, and improvement of campaigns.
- Explore and launch new growth channels – from content marketing to building a strong community – to ensure global brand growth.
- Own and lead MacPaw’s overall marketing and customer experience strategy as a core member of the Executive Team.
- Oversee product marketing, customer segmentation, messaging, and value communication across all ecosystem elements.
- Drive end-to-end customer experience by defining and managing the customer journey from brand discovery to long-term engagement.
- Manage all marketing channels and operations ensuring consistent messaging across SEO, content, PPC, email, social, and more.
- Design and launch integrated, high-impact marketing campaigns that support customer acquisition and brand positioning.
- Identify and develop new communication channels, leveraging customer and market insights to refine strategies.
- Collaborate on go-to-market strategy with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with product launches and business performance.
- Champion seamless brand and experience consistency across all marketing and product interactions.
- Lead and build high-performing marketing teams across Product Marketing, Brand, Creative, Communications, and Campaign operations.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a senior marketing leader (e.g., CMO, Head of Marketing, Marketing Director, VP Marketing) in a fast-growing, technology-driven company.
- Experience in multi-product businesses or product ecosystems with both B2C and B2B products.
- Innovative product mindset with the ability to think beyond traditional marketing and a strong understanding of performance marketing, analytics, and scaling campaigns.
- Data-driven approach with the ability to measure marketing impact through numbers.
- Successful track record in building and growing communities, including engagement with next-gen audiences.
- Strong record of partnership collaborations with major brands.
