Position Overview
We are currently offering a fantastic career opportunity for a highly motivated Lab Technician at Antharis Therapeutics, a pre‐clinical company committed to discovering and developing novel immunotherapeutics (monoclonal antibodies and antibody‐drug conjugates) for an array of disease states. Our approach, which includes hybridoma technology for antibody discovery, is designed to streamline the development of lead candidates for clinical advancement. In this role, you will report directly to a supervising scientist or research associate and be responsible for maintaining lab cleanliness, procuring consumables and reagents, managing stock inventories, and overseeing product deliveries. You will also perform analytical and molecular biology procedures (including ELISA, SDS-PAGE, miniprep/midiprep, and agarose gel electrophoresis), execute antibody purification processes, and conduct in‐vitro experiments under guidance. Proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel), meticulous record‐keeping, and effective communication skills are essential. Flexibility for occasional late hours and the ability to thrive in a self-directed team environment are required.

Key Responsibilities
- Directly reports to supervising scientist or research associate
- Cleans and sanitizes work areas, instruments, and glassware
- Purchases laboratory consumables, reagents, and other items
- Interfaces with vendors and manages reagents stock inventories
- Monitors product delivery to the laboratory, organizes invoices, and executes administrative tasks
- Follows established protocols and procedures
- Prepares buffers, standard laboratory solutions, and cell culture media
- Plans and carries out analytical procedures such as ELISA and SDS-PAGE
- Carries out molecular biology procedures such as miniprep/midiprep and agarose gel electrophoresis (and transfections if required)
- Performs antibody purification processes including purification, desalting, and concentration
- Executes in-vitro experiments with guidance from research associates or scientists
- Maintains detailed records of experiments and data
- Communicates with associates and scientists regarding methodologies and results
- Uses MS Office products proficiently, especially Excel
- Meets deadlines, adapts rapidly to changes in laboratory workflow, and thrives in a fast-paced environment
- May perform additional duties as assigned or directed by management
- Exhibits flexibility with occasional late hours required for sample processing and experiments
- Thrives in a self-directed environment and communicates effectively with team members of various backgrounds
Required Qualifications
- BS degree in Biology or a closely related field
- At least 1 year of relevant experience is preferred
- Familiarity with standard cell culture techniques and proficiency in aseptic technique is a plus
- Experience with data/statistical analysis is preferred (Excel, GraphPad Prism, FlowJo, etc.)
- Highly motivated, self-directed, and innovative with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Possesses a high level of critical thinking
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with laboratory equipment and machinery
