Job Description

Position Overview

CookUnity is a pioneering platform reconnecting people with truly great food, delivered by top chefs. Focused on empowering chefs and transforming the food landscape, the company has expanded into an innovative B2B space. As part of an entrepreneurial, fast-paced team reporting directly to the Head of B2B, you'll take on the role of the first Senior Account Manager on the healthcare team. In this position, you will drive the success of the Food as Medicine programs by onboarding new healthcare clients and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Client Onboarding & Implementation: Serve as the primary post-sale contact for new healthcare clients; lead onboarding and implementation of medically tailored meal (MTM) programs by developing launch plans, timelines, and training materials.
  • Account Management & Retention: Manage day-to-day relationships across a diverse portfolio including payers, hospital systems, and self-insured employers; monitor account health, track program performance, and drive renewals and expansion opportunities.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as the voice of the client by partnering with operations, product, culinary, and marketing teams; help shape best practices and support compliance, billing, and reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • 4–6+ years of experience in client-facing roles within healthcare, digital health, benefits, or food-as-medicine companies
  • Experience with Medicaid/Medicare is required; familiarity with self-insured employer models is a strong plus
  • Proven experience leading onboarding processes and managing strategic accounts with multiple stakeholders
  • Exceptional project management, communication, and relationship-building skills
  • A startup mentality – scrappy, proactive, and comfortable building processes from the ground up

Compensation

  • Base Salary Range: $80,000 – $95,000 (dependent on experience and track record scaling corporate partnerships)
  • On-Target Earnings (OTE): $120,000 – $150,000 (base plus commission/bonus tied to revenue goals)
  • Incentives: Equity options and performance-based bonuses aligned with CookUnity's ambitious growth targets
  • Final pay rates will be determined based on the candidate’s experience, skills, internal equity, and current market data
  • Pay Range for this position: $80,000–$95,000 USD
