Sub Sea Engineers

Position Overview

LTTS US Branch in Houston, Texas is seeking a Subsea Engineer with 20+ years of expertise in subsea system design and installation experience. This Contract role in Offshore Engineering offers a hybrid work schedule (Shell Offices 3 days per week and 2 days remote if desired).

Key Responsibilities

• Detailed design of flowlines, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry codes.
• Provide offshore expertise on lay vessels, ROV boats, and dive vessels.
• Develop pre-commissioning and start-up procedures.
• Conduct fatigue and thermal analysis of pipelines and risers.
• Oversee all phases of concept development and execution, including FEED, detailed design, installation, commissioning, and abandonment where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with international codes and standards (API and DNV).
• Manage subsea equipment installation and operations.
• Support subsea lifting activities, including hydrodynamics and rigging design.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 20 years of experience in offshore engineering.
• Proficient in structural analysis software such as ABAQUS, ANSYS, AGA, and OrcaFlex.
• Strong understanding of hydrodynamics, soil-structure interaction, and marine operations.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with major operators or EPC contractors.
• Willingness to travel offshore as required.
