Position Overview

In this role, you will manage IT support tickets and projects aligned with global initiatives while developing both technical and interpersonal skills. Reporting to the AMER Regional IT Director, you will provide clear support to our global workforce by resolving technical issues and communicating effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Global IT Team to resolve daily support tickets
  • Provide support remotely via Jira Service Management, Slack, email, and video conferencing
  • Troubleshoot issues using process documentation to produce high-quality results
  • Resolve IT support tickets promptly while managing user accounts and permissions across platforms
  • Offer general hardware support, perform password resets, and conduct basic troubleshooting
  • Assist in employee onboarding/offboarding and routine audits as directed by Product Owners
  • Help maintain IT documentation for systems, applications, and processes

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Approximately 1.5 – 2 years of experience in IT support or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of IT software and hardware support
  • Experience with Atlassian tools like Jira and Confluence
  • Proven ability to manage projects, prioritize tasks, and execute plans on time
  • General knowledge of both Windows and macOS operating systems and troubleshooting common issues
  • Experience with SaaS applications such as Google Workspace, Office 365, and Slack
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English (written and verbal)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical thinking in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks efficiently with adaptability to rapidly changing technologies
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and best practices
  • Ability to document technical processes and create user-friendly guides
  • Proactive attitude in identifying and resolving technical issues
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Intune, Defender, and Jamf
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., Python) and in security event/alert monitoring and follow-up
