Join our team as a Mortgage Loan Consultant! In this Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) role, you will guide clients from application through closing entirely over the phone and through digital platforms, building strong rapport and delivering outstanding customer experiences. While performing general duties, you will be required to sit, stand, and/or walk (including using stairs). The role involves regular communication, use of standard office equipment, occasional bending and reaching, and lifting light objects (<25lbs). Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with Borrowers: Manage inbound and outbound calls with consumers interested in purchasing or refinancing residential properties.
  • Pre-Qualify Applicants: Evaluate credit, income, assets, and other financial data to effectively pre-qualify borrowers.
  • Recommend Loan Solutions: Present tailored loan options that align with borrower needs while ensuring compliance with regulatory and company policies.
  • Manage Loan Pipeline: Maintain a robust pipeline of applicants and oversee the loan process from initial application through funding.
  • Deliver Clear Communication: Provide timely, transparent, and professional guidance to borrowers throughout the process.
  • Leverage Technology: Utilize CRM and Loan Origination Systems (LOS) to manage leads, document interactions, and track loan progress.
  • Stay Industry-Savvy: Keep up-to-date with current mortgage products, interest rates, and market trends.
  • Achieve Sales Goals: Consistently meet or exceed monthly production targets and conversion metrics.
  • Maintain Licensing: Proactively obtain and maintain required state licenses as directed by Orion180.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Recent graduate from a 4-year accredited institution.
  • Work Environment: This is a 100% in-office role.
  • Mortgage Sales Interest: Demonstrates a strong passion for building a career in mortgage sales.
  • Licensing: Eligible and committed to obtaining and maintaining an active NMLS license.
