Position Overview
Join Valvoline Instant Oil Change as an Entry-Level Lube Technician. At VIOC, our team is made up of students, recent graduates, parents, veterans, and career changers—all united by the drive to succeed. In this role, you’ll help keep our guests safe on the road by delivering top-tier customer service and performing preventative maintenance on vehicles. No previous automotive experience is required as you will receive award-winning training to master tasks such as oil changes, fluid refills, tire rotations, battery testing, light inspections, 18-point maintenance checks, and other preventive maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks including oil changes, fluid refills, tire rotations, battery tests, light and wiper inspections, and 18-point maintenance checks.
- Deliver preventive maintenance services to keep vehicles operating at their best.
Required Qualifications
- Flexible schedule with weekend availability; no late-night hours or holiday work expected.
- A positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to outstanding customer service.
- Effective communication skills in English (reading, writing, and speaking).
- Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, climb stairs, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds; capacity to crouch, bend, twist, and work with hands above the head.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled environment.
