Hourly Wage Estimate: $48.32 - $72.49 / hour

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high quality, patient-centered care.
  • Participate in the ongoing assessment of patient care services in the unit in collaboration with the management team.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create a teamwork environment that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Operationalize current nursing strategies, including employee rounding and hourly rounds, to improve engagement.
  • Provide recommendations regarding interviewing, selecting, and training new staff, including conflict resolution and personnel policy compliance.
  • Assist with staff scheduling and manage labor in accordance with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
  • Support proper inventory control and assist with managing supplies and equipment.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required
  • Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Nevada
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
  • STABLE certification within three (3) months of hire
  • AWHONN Fetal Monitoring validation within 6 months of hire
  • Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI)
  • National Certification (ANCC) required within 6 months of hire
  • Minimum 1 year of applicable experience
