Position Overview
Join THG—a global ecommerce leader in beauty and sports nutrition—as an Assistant Marketing Manager, Influencers & Events based in Lower Manhattan, NYC. In this hybrid role within the Myprotein North America team, you will drive innovative influencer marketing strategies and execute dynamic brand activation events. Reporting to the General Manager and Influencer Marketing Lead, you’ll manage influencer partnerships and spearhead experiential campaigns designed to build brand awareness, boost engagement, and deliver impactful commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, recruit, and manage a portfolio of on-brand influencers across fitness, lifestyle, and wellness categories.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of influencer campaigns—from outreach and onboarding to product distribution and deliverable tracking.
- Lead micro-influencer initiatives and co-manage global influencer activations while leveraging performance data to optimize revenue and engagement.
- Coordinate with content, social, PR, and digital marketing teams for comprehensive, 360° brand campaigns.
- Plan and execute US-based influencer shoots and experiential events, ensuring strategic alignment with global brand goals.
- Develop and implement creative event concepts and manage the end-to-end event activation process across North America.
- Oversee vendor relationships, manage budgets, and analyze campaign performance metrics to drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- 3–5+ years’ experience in influencer marketing, event marketing, or brand activation.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Familiarity with influencer marketing platforms and social media channels (IG, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage budgets and assess campaign performance with a commercial mindset.
- Experience working cross-functionally with creatives, agencies, and global teams.
- Self-starter with a proactive, problem-solving approach and a passion for the health, fitness, and wellness industries.
- Ability to remain adaptable and calm under pressure in fast-paced environments.
- Creative thinker with strong attention to detail and a collaborative spirit.
