Job Description
Position Overview
The Warehouse Marketing Support (WMS) Manager will be responsible for raising awareness of the Costco Auto Program at Costco Warehouses. This role involves building relationships in assigned territories through virtual and onsite meetings, using strong organizational and sales skills to educate key management on program events, updates, and market trends.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage territory and relationships independently, overseeing marketing improvement and brand awareness.
- Develop a marketing plan for assigned territories to increase program visibility and member awareness.
- Manage and schedule own travel, including plane and auto transportation to warehouse locations at least 26 weeks per year.
- Create effective marketing campaigns to introduce new products and drive awareness.
- Build strong relationships with client decision makers and understand their current goals and objectives.
- Analyze, document, and report data (individual, district, and regional statistics) to support strategic marketing direction.
- Plan and conduct virtual and onsite educational presentations for managers and personnel.
- Collaborate with supervisors on current marketing trends, opportunities, and goals.
- Document all aspects of the warehouse file in the company's internal CRM.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or minimum of three (3) years of related experience/training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for onsite/virtual meetings.
- Ability to independently plan and successfully travel 26+ weeks per year (this includes overnight travel).
- May be required to travel Monday-Friday, two weeks out of each month.
- Proficient in navigating virtual meetings and technology.
- Strong active listening skills with the ability to overcome client objections or concerns.
- Excellent organizational skills with a clear plan for warehouse support initiatives, connections, and meetings.
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Detail-oriented with excellent follow-up and time management skills.
- Able to present content confidently and logically.
- Exceptional grammar and professional writing skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision or within a team environment.
- Strong organizational skills to independently schedule and manage travel across multiple regions.
- Continuously seeks to improve skills and knowledge.
- Has a Valid Driver's License.
- Requires 50% (26 weeks per year) overnight travel, typically by plane, multi-state and internationally as needed.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
