Job Description

Position Overview

Unleash your passion for saving lives as a crucial member of our EMT team. Join us to provide top-tier emergency medical care by responding to 911 calls and facility transports while working flexible shifts – day, evening, or night with variable lengths and every other weekend rotation. Work 72 hours per two‐week pay period at 2296 Woodale Drive, Mounds View, MN 55112. Compensation: $23.34 to $30.90 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provides patient care within the scope of certification.
  • Responds to 911 calls and, under the direction of a paramedic, delivers pre-hospital care.
  • Transports patients from the scene or between facilities.
  • Documents and provides reports to receiving facilities.
  • Maintains vehicle and equipment, including cleaning and stocking.
  • Operates vehicles in accordance with driving laws and company procedures.
  • Reports safety or potential safety hazards and performs other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

  • Must be 18 years of age with the education and/or experience to meet the required functional competences.
  • At least 1 year of driving experience.
  • Passing of Fitness for Duty testing.
  • Must obtain credentials in accordance with the Office of Medical Direction within the probational period and maintain them thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience working as an EMT.
