Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Trauma and Extremities Inventory Specialist. The ideal candidate will manage the inventory of trauma and extremity medical devices including orthopedic implants, prosthetics, and related supplies. This role involves accurate tracking, optimizing stock levels, and close collaboration with healthcare professionals and suppliers. A bachelor's degree and relevant industry experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee the inventory of trauma and extremity medical devices, including orthopedic implants, prosthetics, and related supplies
- Ensure accurate tracking and recording of inventory levels, including receiving, storage, and distribution processes
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and suppliers to secure timely and accurate delivery
- Monitor inventory levels and develop strategies to optimize stock, minimize waste, and prevent stockouts
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements for storage and inventory management
- Conduct regular audits to verify inventory accuracy and address discrepancies
- Provide training and support to healthcare staff on proper inventory management procedures
- Undertake additional responsibilities as delegated by management
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field preferred
- Experience in inventory management, ideally in a healthcare or medical device setting with a focus on trauma and extremities
- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements for storage and inventory management
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Proficiency in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills with diverse stakeholders
