Job Description

Position Overview

As the Senior Director T&O Finance you will act as a horizontal leader across the T&O organization and own the T&O finance ERP product. You will be accountable for all aspects (Finance product planning, development, operations and support) of the end-to-end lifecycle of the Finance ERP product, owning/influencing budgets and operating plans. You will connect teams and processes across the T&O organization to simplify and modernize the way T&O GE Aerospace does business in support of its customers and internal operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for stable and secure operations across the T&O ERP finance landscape.
  • Create the strategic roadmap for the T&O ERP finance product; coordinate several parallel teams to deliver on higher-level outcomes, ensure transparent delivery, and maximize returns with a focus on execution throughout each product release.
  • Embrace new technologies such as AI to introduce innovative approaches in ERP finance business processes.
  • Recruit and develop world-class global technical talent within the GE Aerospace Digital Technology organization.
  • Establish and facilitate processes for decision making, process flows, and handoffs.
  • Act as a practitioner and coach of FLIGHT DECK, GE Aerospace’s proprietary Lean Operating System, to accelerate the deployment of strategic capabilities and value to the business while driving standard work in the design, delivery, and support of critical data and technology outcomes.
  • Leverage deep ERP finance process/domain expertise to influence key stakeholders in design and planning decisions for ERP finance products.
  • Interpret internal and external business challenges and recommend best practices to improve ERP finance products, processes, or services.
  • Lead functional teams and projects with moderate resource requirements, complexity, and risk, while communicating complex messages and negotiating internally to drive alternative points of view.

Required Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience, or an associate's degree with at least 13 years of professional experience, or a High School Diploma with a minimum of 15 years of professional experience.
  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in finance product planning, development, operations, and support.
  • Must have 5-10 years of management experience.
  • Must have 10 years of Oracle EBS experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems, along with proven experience in leading complex programs or projects.
  • Established project management skills.

  • Salary: $176,000 - $294,000 per year
  • Compensation: Base pay plus an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of the base salary or commission according to the plan.
