Job Description

Please apply to this position if you are a New Graduate Registered Nurse interested in a position on an inpatient unit at Sparrow. If you are interested in a specialty nursing position (e.g. L&D, Surgery) please search our open positions as those are posted by unit.

Job Requirements

General Requirements

• Current Michigan license as a Registered Nurse • See Competency Grid below for department specifics

Work Experience

• Clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills necessary to deliver quality patient care

Education

• Associate degree in Nursing • Basic Life Support within 60 days of hire

Specialized Knowledge and Skills

Required:

• Interpersonal skills for effective communication • Computer literate Preferred: • Bachelors degree
