This role involves comprehensive medical office patient care – taking medical histories, preparing patients for examinations and procedures, assisting physicians in both office and hospital settings, documenting medical records, and scheduling appointments as required. Key Responsibilities

• Take detailed medical histories from patients.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures.
• Assist physicians in both office and hospital settings.
• Document medical records accurately.
• Schedule patient appointments as required.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of a High School Diploma and a successful completion of an accredited Health Sciences program or CCMA (Certified Clinical Medical Assistant) certification.
• Must possess a current NCT permit from the Texas Medical Board or Medical Assistant certification; candidates in the process of obtaining certification (within six months) will be considered.
• Must have reliable transportation.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least one year of experience in a medical office or hospital setting.
