Position Overview

Join Titus Contracting Inc as a Design Manager – Interior Design and help shape full-service remodeling experiences in Burnsville, MN. You will lead our design center and a talented team of designers, working on high-end residential and commercial projects—from initial concepts to final finishes. This role combines creative design development with strategic leadership in a top-tier remodeling firm known for innovative living and working environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the design team and day-to-day operations of the design center
  • Oversee full-service interior design across residential (75–80%) and commercial (20–25%) projects
  • Develop initial concepts, drawings, and finish packages using Chief Architect or CAD software
  • Collaborate with clients and project teams on space layout, interior finishes, lighting, and fixtures
  • Mentor designers and ensure high-quality design output
  • Guide clients through the selection process with compelling design presentations
  • Utilize JobTread or similar project management software to document selections and keep projects on track
  • Attend on-site meetings and discovery visits as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Interior Design or a related field
  • 8+ years of interior design experience in remodeling or construction
  • Proven ability to design for residential remodels and light commercial spaces
  • Proficiency in Chief Architect and CAD experience
  • Familiarity with JobTread or similar project management tools
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, additions, and space planning
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills
  • Ability to guide clients through design decisions with professionalism and warmth
  • Submission of a professional portfolio with application

Preferred Qualifications

  • AIA, CID, NCIDQ certification is a plus
