Job Description

Position Overview

The Loan Officer Assistant (LOA) at American Pacific Mortgage plays a crucial role in supporting loan officers and branch managers by managing multi-state loan referrals. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines. The LOA will be responsible for ensuring timely loan closings and maintaining effective communication with all stakeholders involved in the loan process.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather conditions from borrowers
  • Communicate with processor and LO regarding loan file progress
  • Manage deadlines effectively to ensure timely loan closings
  • Update referral partners, LO's, processors, borrowers, and agents on loan files
  • Participate in weekly pipeline meetings
  • Open escrow and request title/escrow fees as needed
  • Order appraisals
  • Request COCs
  • Enter fees in 2015 itemization and request initial disclosures & COCs
  • Maintain a well-versed knowledge of APMC program/guidelines
