At Kuehne+Nagel, our Jacksonville site is seeking a Sea Logistics Sales Representative to join our Sea Logistics team. In this role, you will support our rapid growth by delivering agreed portfolio targets through developing both existing and new customer relationships, working closely with operations and cross-functional teams to achieve results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Closely cooperates with operations to develop and apply specialized knowledge relative to the assigned business unit and trade lane (where applicable)
  • Develops spot and regular opportunities with existing and new customers
  • Engages in customer retention management on the assigned account portfolio
  • Prepares and conducts customer visits, calls, presentations, quarterly business reviews, negotiations, and contracts
  • Liaisons with operations on pricing/RFQ preparation
  • Inputs and updates sales activities timely using the CRM system
  • Ensures proper transitioning of customers to operations in line with customer requirements
  • Creates, manages, and executes a Sales Plan to achieve targets
  • Maintains and expands client relations
  • Demonstrates expertise in all company products and service offerings while managing sales in a disciplined, professional, and direct manner
  • Utilizes all available resources and tools to ensure success and deliver appropriate customer service in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Partners with cross-functional teams on RFQ, pricing, and handover preparations
  • Undertakes other duties as assigned by the Company

Required Qualifications

  • 2-5 years' experience in the freight forwarding, logistics, or transportation industry
  • 3+ years of field sales experience, including both account management and business development
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize customer requirements and develop innovative solutions
