Data Center Technician - Mount , WI

Position Overview

Join our team as a Data Center Technician! Based in Mount Pleasant, WI (relocation may be required) and working onsite in New York, NY, you’ll be at the heart of technology innovation. In this contract role, you’ll handle cutting‐edge hardware installations, troubleshoot mission-critical systems, and support large-scale GPU deployments and next-generation networking projects. Bring your initiative and energy to a fast-moving environment where no two days are the same.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve server, GPU, and network issues quickly.
• Deploy, rack, stack, and cable hardware with precision and speed.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure seamless operations and timely project completion.
• Manage support tickets and document resolutions using digital tools.
• Mentor teammates and contribute to project leadership.
• Operate advanced technology in a large-scale data center environment.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on data center experience (break/fix, deployment, troubleshooting).
• Mastery of hardware installation, cabling (Cat5, Cat6, fiber) and network troubleshooting.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage complex projects.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Flexibility to work day or night shifts with a willingness to travel as needed.

Preferred Qualifications

• GPU deployment experience is a huge plus!
• Experience with large-scale technology deployments.
• Familiarity with cutting-edge data center operations.

• Compensation: Competitive pay range of $30/hr to $49.50/hr (note: some roles may offer $30/hr to $44/hr).
