Entry Level Field Technician (I) - Construction

Position Overview

Intertek, a leading provider of quality and safety solutions for many of the world's top-recognized brands, is seeking an Entry Level Field Technician (I) for its Professional Service Industries, Inc. The role involves performing various testing, project-specific observations, and site assessments under general supervision and/or detailed controlled procedures. Key Responsibilities

• Operate testing equipment and conduct testing (e.g., soil, concrete, etc.) and provide assessment of data through reporting
• Utilize drawings, specifications, and diagrams
• Perform tasks to make detailed observations of site activities and provide limited interpretation of results
• Maintain detailed documentation and data from test results

Required Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and reliable driving record
• Ability to work off shift, overtime, and overnight hours as needed
• Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequently; occasionally, over 50 pounds with assistance
• Strong oral communication skills and ability to discern important details from spoken information
• Ability to kneel, squat, walk, stand for long periods, and climb occasionally
• Capability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions

Preferred Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• 6 months of experience in construction materials or density testing
• ACI Certification
