Key Responsibilities

  • Create basic designs under the direction of the senior engineer and/or senior designer.
  • Learn drawing organization and company standards.
  • Perform CAD/BIM drafting for various projects to understand architectural engineering design and documentation.
  • Coordinate with the designs of other trades under the guidance of senior technical staff.
  • Support design and engineering efforts for new installations, retrofits, replacements, and upgrades.
  • Ensure completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of work assignments.
  • Assist engineers with field investigations, construction site visits, and project coordination meetings.
  • Participate in the Engineering Development Training (EDT) program training sessions and continuing education seminars.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering with a graduation date of Winter 2025, or Spring/Summer 2026.
  • Previous engineering internship experience (a plus).
  • Knowledge of the latest version of MEP Auto CAD; REVIT experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in design and calculation software; MS Office Suite.
  • FE or EIT preferred.

  • Compensation: California Pay Range: $61,350—$92,167 USD (actual pay will be commensurate with experience, skillset, and local cost of labor).
