Job Description

Position Overview

In this role at Google, you will lead Gemini adoption in the Higher Education sector across North America by developing and executing go‐to‐market strategies and managing a team of sales representatives. You will build trusted relationships with academic institutions, drive meaningful adoption of innovative AI-driven solutions, and play a pivotal role in supporting teaching, learning, and research.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the GTM strategy for Gemini in Higher Education in North America, owning key results for adoption within the region.
  • Set Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and manage performance and career development conversations with your team.
  • Foster executive relationships at key academic institutions in the region, acting as a trusted advisor across the higher education sector.
  • Identify sector stakeholders (e.g., university associations, frameworks, leadership groups) to enable Gemini adoption while leading thought leadership initiatives.
  • Collaborate with teams across Google (e.g., Cloud, Marketing) to develop an aligned One-Google strategy and relay customer feedback to influence cross-functional go-to-market plans.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 5 years of experience in education technology, selling enterprise software, account management, or a related field.
  • 2 years of experience managing a team, including setting targets, strategy, and coaching individuals.
  • Experience working in the Higher Education sector.
  • Proven experience in executing go-to-market strategies and exceeding goals.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with artificial intelligence, machine learning, or other transformative technologies.
  • Proven track record in supporting technology adoption and change-management initiatives for customers.
  • Ability to build and cultivate lasting relationships with key accounts.
  • Experience in developing thought leadership and innovative programs in the education space.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills with a strong capability for cross-functional collaboration.

Benefits & Perks

  • Compensation: US base salary range of $165,000-$245,000, plus bonus, equity, and additional benefits.
