Position Overview
Lyons Magnus leads the food industry with creativity and innovation, crafting top-quality products from raw materials to marketing. At Lyons, our diverse and talented staff is the heart of our organization, fostering a thriving work environment. This full-time Marketing Manager position in the Marketing department at Lyons Magnus—an international food and beverage manufacturer headquartered in Fresno, CA—involves traditional marketing functions aimed at developing, coordinating, and implementing the company’s strategic marketing plan. The role operates in-office, with hours from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, and requires no travel. Compensation: $85,000 - $110,000 per year + bonus.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute marketing strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives.
- Manage point of sale materials and custom marketing materials including presentations, brochures, and product sheets.
- Collaborate with the sales team for strategic customer meetings and projects.
- Plan and oversee the implementation of marketing campaigns across various channels (digital, print, social media, etc.).
- Use data-driven insights to make informed decisions and optimize future marketing strategies.
- Monitor the perception and position of the Lyons brand and product portfolio.
- Manage the development and design process of product labels.
- Prepare and present regular reports on marketing results and effectiveness to senior management.
- Provide design direction and collaborate with graphic designers throughout the creative process.
- Stay current with industry trends, consumer insights, and competitor activity.
- Support the sales team with food shows, conferences, and other ad hoc needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Commercial Operations, Research and Development, and Regulatory.
Required Qualifications
- A proven track record in project management with exceptional organization and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent writing skills with good judgment in content, format, and grammar.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; eagerness to learn other tools including SharePoint, Canva, Salesforce, and PowerBI.
- Ability to utilize various resources to recognize and summarize consumer trends.
- A passion to “Get It Done” and delight customers, consumers, and communities.
- A collaborative "One Team" mentality with courtesy, discretion, and professionalism.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably in Marketing or Business Administration.
- Minimum of five (5) years of marketing experience.
