Position Overview

Entry Level Software Developer – SkillStorm is seeking full-time Entry Level Software Developers for one of our Fortune 100 clients. This on-site position offers 12 weeks of collaborative, team-based training on diverse, real-world projects to prepare you for an immediate impact when deployed to our enterprise or government clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop new applications and modify existing ones using the programming languages, platforms, frameworks, and tools employed by our clients.
  • Write well-structured, readable, and efficient code while adhering to coding standards and best practices.
  • Identify, diagnose, and fix bugs in software applications, ensuring smooth performance and providing technical support.
  • Participate in code review sessions with peers to ensure code quality, share knowledge, and recommend improvements.
  • Assist in deploying and testing applications to production environments to guarantee seamless integration.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 9+ months of TECHNICAL experience.
  • Relocatable to multiple locations for an on-site role.
  • Ability to earn a government security clearance.
  • Strong understanding of programming principles, data structures, algorithms, databases, and SQL.
  • Experience with software development using Java, C#, or similar object-oriented programming languages.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S. under SkillStorm's W2; not a C2C position.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
