Position Overview
Carnegie Learning is seeking a dynamic Marketing Manager, Paid Media & Events to play a hands‑on role in bringing our brand to life across digital and in‑person experiences. This fully remote role—with regular travel—places you at the intersection of digital paid media and live events, managing our paid media agency and executing high‑impact events and tradeshows. Compensation & Benefits: Salary range commensurate with experience + bonus eligibility.
Working alongside a fast‑moving marketing team and seasoned leaders, you will drive strategic digital campaigns and meticulously planned events that reflect Carnegie Learning’s commitment to empowering educators and students alike.
Key Responsibilities
- Paid Media Management (Approx. 50%)
- Manage Carnegie Learning’s paid media agency to ensure campaigns across SEM, display, paid social, and other channels are executed on time, on budget, and deliver on brand and business goals.
- Oversee the complete influencer program—from research and vetting to creative brief development and campaign budgeting—to secure authentic, high-impact partnerships.
- Coordinate the paid media budget, including forecasting, spend tracking, and performance reporting.
- Partner with the agency for effective targeting, creative ad delivery, testing, and optimization.
- Collaborate with internal content, creative, and web teams to provide campaign assets and coordinate landing pages.
- Regularly review performance data to extract insights for future campaigns and report key metrics to marketing leadership.
- Stay current on digital advertising trends, audience targeting, attribution models, and performance analytics while working in platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
- Event Management (Approx. 50%)
- Plan and execute 3‑5 Carnegie Learning events and 3‑5 major tradeshows annually, ensuring every detail aligns with brand excellence and innovation.
- Oversee all event logistics including vendor coordination, shipping, registration, materials, and onsite support.
- Manage event budgets, timelines, and deliverables from conception to completion.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure messaging, creative assets, and booth experiences adhere to brand standards.
- Provide onsite support for events (typically 1-2 trips per quarter) and track event ROI by compiling post-event performance reports.
Required Qualifications
- 3‑5 years of marketing experience with exposure to both paid media and event execution in an agency or corporate setting.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to juggle multiple projects, vendors, and deadlines.
- Analytical mindset with comfort in reviewing data, tracking budgets, and reporting performance metrics.
- Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
- Hands‑on experience managing digital campaigns using platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google Analytics, and HubSpot.
- Proven capability in planning and managing events from start to finish, including logistics coordination and onsite support.
- Ability to travel regularly for event execution along with a self‑starter attitude marked by curiosity, creativity, and eagerness to learn.
