The Medical ICU at UH Cleveland Medical Center is a 20 bed unit. Our unit utilizes leading-edge technologies and evidence based treatments to ensure our patients receive exceptional care during critical times. Medial Intensive Care Unit (MICU) – At University Hospitals, nurses have always been our front-line caregivers. Every day, they care for patients of all ages – from newborns to seniors – expertly blending compassion with advanced knowledge, technical skills and professional integrity.
Key Responsibilities
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Complies with all policies and standards.
- For specific duties and responsibilities, refer to documentation provided by the department during orientation.
- Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct, and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
