Job Description

Position Overview

Amazon is guided by four principles: customer obsession, passion for invention, commitment to operational excellence, and long-term thinking. As part of the Offline Marketing and Sales team, you will support a wide array of innovative products—from Echo and Ring to Fire Tablets and Kindle eReaders—while helping maintain Amazon’s reputation as Earth's most customer-centric company. In this role, Market Manager you will own a territory of offline retail stores, managing the Amazon in-store experience and merchandising. Acting as the Amazon expert, your influence and ability to drive project deliverables without direct authority will be central to improving the customer experience and enhancing brand advocacy.

You will also collaborate closely with retail partners, train sales associates, and gather critical market insights, all while working flexible hours—including nights and weekends—for a standard workweek of 40 hours per week. Additionally, you’ll be part of an experienced team responsible for driving sales and marketing initiatives across the United States and Canada.

Key Responsibilities

  • Utilize business acumen and critical thinking skills to identify trends, perform root cause analyses, and resolve in-store operational issues across your market.
  • Collect business and market insights from consumers and store associates to influence product, feature, and channel marketing decisions.
  • Manage weekly travel across a large territory of retailers, leveraging sales tools and store profiles to improve sales and brand advocacy.
  • Develop strong professional relationships with key internal and external stakeholders (e.g., Area Managers, Regional Managers, General Managers).
  • Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) to boost sales through the offline retail channel while achieving goals in advocacy, compliance, training, and coverage.
  • Complete daily in-store reports documenting visits, including submitting digital photos.
  • Effectively install, troubleshoot, and maintain a variety of Amazon, Ring, Blink, and eero display devices and fixtures in national retail stores.
  • Delegate responsibilities and influence teams to execute standard operating procedures, implement improvements, and provide feedback to store managers and corporate stakeholders.
  • Invent, simplify, and share best practices across your market.
  • Manage in-store product transitions and retailer communications to ensure proper execution of the Amazon in-store experience and merchandising standards.
  • Educate store associates on the value of Amazon, Ring, Blink, and eero devices and services through small and large group training sessions.
  • Conduct sales and training during large-scale events based on program and market needs.
  • Provide clear, concise, and timely communication—both verbal and written—with internal and external stakeholders on a national scale.
  • Manage travel arrangements and work expenses efficiently.
